Blue Corn Cookies with Cactus Marmalade

I had some time to waste at the airport in Phoenix and came across a box of blue corn cookies mix with prickly pear cactus marmalade. Sounded interesting enough, so I bought it to bake with a few girls from church. I started hanging out with them in December, on Sundays after church. It's been a really fun and rewarding experience. They are so cute - and I am so old compared to them, but it's nice to know that I am still young enough at heart to hang out with high school and middle school girls :) Girls can always bond over baking and eating! Seriously, they can eat!

Does that look edible?! We all had our doubts

We took so many pictures, hahaha

Venus decided to make a super huge cookie - I think she ended up eating it too!

MMMMM..... they smelled and tasted SO good

Our expressions show just how good the cookies were

I'm not quite sure how this started .... LOL
