Invitation Addressing Party

In the last couple of weeks, I've received 2 wedding invitations, 1 bridal shower invitation, and 1 save the date. This will be the first year that I attend weddings of friends from college, these are going to be super fun! AND I won't have to worry about bringing a date because I will know enough people there :)

A few weekends ago a few of us got together to help Tina assemble and handwrite the wedding invitations. It was hard work! First of all, we were all nervous about messing up because she was already short on invitations. Second of all, none of us except Lisa knew how to write calligraphy so everyone's handwriting was different, hahaha. My hand started hurting halfway through. I have to say though, Tina was very diligent in doing her research about proper etiquette in addressing invitations and was prepared with the proper tools for the sweatshop, I mean, party.

The cutest thing was that her fiance Jason was there with the host, they went out to look at tux's and joked about looking for strippers for the bachelor party, which sparked a conversation amongst the girls about bachelor and bachelorette parties and what we would want. When they came back, Jason kept offering to help and thanking us for helping them out. He is really sweet to Tina. and I think they are adorable together.

Tina made templates to insert into the envelopes so we have lines to guide us, brilliant huh?

The daunting pile of envelopes we had to address

This is Lisa's calligraphy - isn't it amazing? Yea mine totally did not look like that ...

Diligently working

Look at us slaving away .... I told them that if I ever get married they were all getting evites!

We're in the homestretch!
